I like to hold hands, snuggle up and I am always myself, theres no pretence for me.
I can and have mixed with any social circle, i'm knowledgable think before i speak and a great listener. I have travelled a great deal and love mixing in with different cultures, hitting the ground running as it were.
Trying to be tidy but failing miserably but I like to leave what has happened to today behind and look for tomorrow as being another day to enjoy, not one to reflect on.
I'm a (mostly retired) musician, i've played semi professionally all my adult life and still like to play when I get the chance. I enjoy surprising people with my hidden talents! I'm a born fixer of anything, I'm practical and resourceful, an engineer of life really. I can cook, not masterchef by any means but i have a few menus i can cook up. And something is broken, I can probably fix it!
Having time on my hands, travel is a big part of my life.
I'm active, I ski to a decent level, cycle and try to keep reasonably fit, climbed Mt Ventoux a couple of times. Not a gym person though. I play golf, not nearly as much as I did but it’s still a part of my activities and friendships. I’m quite competitive I suppose, but I’m good company always.
Fun is making a day out of nothing, the best times often come by surprise and without planning. I would say I'm a realist but also see that one lives a life without conditions, making it up as one goes along? Probably.
My friends describe me as being fairly quiet but very approachable and quick and easy to get on with.

The main thing for me would be a good chemistry, its often immediate, rare i know, but without it things wouldn't progress.
She as well as I would be excited to meet up, and be positive.
I think she would have similar interests, seeking a shared lifestyle, not one that is separate and parallel. Having said that, she would be comfortable in her own space, like her own life as it is, enjoy her own hobbies and passions, maybe wanting to share it, as I would like to and not be a needy person.
Being a great listener and empathetic makes for a great day and life, so not being too prescriptive in ones views or desires.
She would probably be a tactile lady, warm and outgoing and love conversation. She would enjoy nice food, and like to enjoy being treated to a fab night out as much as a cosy chat anywhere at all.
