About her
Well, I asked my friends and siblings for help with this and apparently I'm funny, forthright, independent, intelligent, kind and energetic. (The other adjectives they offered I'm ignoring for now!)
I value open conversation and discussion, and find humour in most situations. With the right partner - obviously missing at the moment - I think everything just seems that bit more funny, interesting and enjoyable.
Having relatively recently retired from a demanding full-time career, I now have more time to spend doing what I enjoy: being outside; walking with the dog; volunteering; catching up with friends; keeping fit (swimming, Pilates, running - that one’s less enjoyment more a necessity!); gardening; sketching/painting; reading and l'd like to take up cycling again - maybe somewhere less hilly and busy though!
Overall, I much prefer the countryside to cities - that said, I am really happy to have a regular city-fix to take advantage of the usual social and cultural attractions on offer.

Someone intelligent, funny, happy, generous-spirited, fit and energetic would be absolutely perfect! But given the elusive nature of perfection, and, in the context of the real world, l'd welcome a man possessing at least some of those qualities and perhaps some other impressive ones I have yet to encounter; I'm happy to be surprised!
