About her
I'm a deep thinker, kind and courageous with a gentle sense of humour, able to tease and be teased. I think outside the box and enjoy meaningful conversations, always keen to learn more. I speak truthfully, can't be doing with passive aggressive styles of communication and value honesty and integrity. I always look for the positives and for other perspectives.
I've a science degree but at heart I'm a sensitive creative. Over the years my perspectives have broadened and I’ve trained in homeopathy and sound healing, having benefitted from both for my health and healing. These days I flow through life with more than a dollop of intuitive wisdom!
I’m extremely political with a small p and have strong views about how I can best live on this amazing planet, aiming to balance what I take with what I can give back: I use natural products; eat seasonally; buy local and organic; avoid supermarkets favouring independent retailers; have no car; don't own a TV.
I’m told I live a simple life, but I do enjoy the benefits of being in a city: coffee shops, restaurants, theatres, concerts and exhibitions, plus so many options for music making and expressive dance. I have my selective blind spots (the environmental impact of coffee, chocolate and avocado production being some of them!) but I do my best to live by my principles. I seek not to convert; mutual respect is important.
I have a great sense of rhythm, love acoustic music, drumming, singing and expressive dance. I love my garden and filling it with herbs, fruit and flowers. I’m never happier than when I’m by the sea and visit the coast regularly for rest, rebalancing and reinvigoration.
Over the past few years I've explored what makes me tick and worked hard to accept responsibility for who I am and what I do; I’m a work in progress and expect to keep on changing as the best version of myself constantly evolves. I can honestly say I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and I do very well on my own – but I’d love a soulmate to travel with on life’s exciting journey!

I'm looking for someone who's not scared to be himself: who knows who he is and has also worked hard to accept responsibility for himself. Someone with whom there’s a really deep connection as well as sexual chemistry. Someone who is able to hold space for me, as I'm able to hold space for them. I'd love to spend time dancing, enjoying acoustic music of different kinds, being outdoors, finding the beauty in wherever we are.
