I am 76yrs young. Relatively fit. Had a wide and varied life., from being a mining mechanical engineer to a policeman for 30yrs to a pub landlord for 20yrs. I have seen life from happiness to tragedy. I am now single, apart from my dog. I have been married twice and have 5 children. All with good careers. I had a partner for 17yrs, i looked after her through 7yrs of illness before i lost her. My interests are course fishing, unfortunately golf, it drives me nuts. I played Rugby Union for nearly 40yrs, didn't know when to quit until my body told me.. but still love watching. I love surprising a partner that I know will make her smile. I have a sharp sense of humour, sometimes too sharp and I have to remind myself to think before I speak. I enjoy going out for a meal or pint down the local or simply time at home enjoying each other's company.
