About her
Fun and carefree, my father was a pianist and l was brought up listening to Chopin being played as l went to sleep. He was my teacher.
These days l like audio books eg Thich Nat Hahn' The teachings of the Buddha' and l"m slowly ploughing my way through War and Peace!
I love the fact that the words we use affect the thoughts that in turn shape who we become.
I enjoy all culture , art and the theatre esp the RSC. I really love going to galleries but being in nature is really essential.I love hill walking. I sometimes practise meditation and think about how to improve the quality of my inner as well as my outer life. I am not mainstream and do not adhere to celebrity or generalised TV culture. I do love film noir and period dramas and history though.
I enjoy spontaneous travel. Last year it was Venice for the art, the churches and galleries and then a Qigong and yoga retreat in Spain. This year, Egypt for the Temples of the Nile, and France in the summer for peace and relaxation, wine flows and the plums are ripe to pick and I make jam and tarts.
I make friends wherever l go and l am interested in how others create meaning in this never ending film set we are in.. I care about the environment.I try to reduce and to make do, eat vegetarian.
I like to serve and to give of myself.
My friends would describe me as a unique generous and warm hearted woman , an intelligent soul with a contageous giggle.....I look far younger than my biological age and I laugh a lot.
Yes we all get old. Sorry I can't help this.I shall push you around in a wheel chair later on, though you are ten years younger! Please younger men ,come say hi.You won't be disappointed( unless you want very slim rather than curvy. I'm a 14 !)
