Classic Englishman who has lived a very full life of adventure, never dull or boring. Happy in London or the Country and looking for a long term partner to share life. I have a very good social life but am just as happy quietly at home in front of the log burner.
I love a pub and good food, I love cooking in the kitchen with the music on a glass of wine and talking through the day. I love radio 4 and 'Farming Today' and Jo Wiley on BBC R2. I am fortunate to have good health too. I hold a few formal appointments and do quite a bit of charity related work too, this I really enjoy and it gives me the opportunity to meet inspirational and modest people doing terrific things.

A genuine lady with a happy disposition, fun and outgoing. Happy in stilettos or wellies. Clean and tidy, cultured and who likes weekends away at home or abroad in a Michelin restaurant, or good local cafe, a 5* hotel of a modest airbnb. Doesn't matter to me, after years in the Army I can do either. But can't run like I used to as my knees are pretty shot. But I love my bike and early mornings peddling along quiet country lanes. Someone who is ultimately looking for a long term permanent relationship. Grown up children are cool. Someone who likes the fresh air and the Countryside. Someone who likes to travel, explore street markets, an old building, glass of rose on a harbourside restaurant, paella, gastro pubs with friends, laughter and interesting conversation with people who have and are living a life.
