I’m a 6-foot-tall, fit and active soul with an irregular yoga habit, a love of walks in the countryside, and a collie who thinks she’s in charge (she might be right).
As with everybody else, life has shaped me in different ways. I was lucky to share many years with my wife, and I cared for her during her long journey with dementia. That time taught me much about myself - no matter how mh we care, we still fail a lot of the time. Caring for a dementia person is demanding - and it removes all preconceptions about how wonderful we are !!!
I have children and grandchildren and love them all and do my best to spoil them when I can
Financially I am in a decent place – own my own home and have a few bob in the bank.
I’d love to meet someone who values connection and kindness; who enjoys a bit of mischief, loves dogs, and can appreciate the healing magic of laughter. Whether we’re walking the dog, sharing a bottle of wine, or whatever - friendship and an ability to communiacte is what matters.
