I'm a hopeless romantic; happy and optimistic; generous and kind (better to give than to receive); honest; empathetic; good listener; witty, self-effacing and modest(!); stress-free; holds doors open for ladies; traveller; music lover and concert goer; motor racing follower. I love cooking (my Sunday roast and crepes suzette are world famous). I love playing vinyl with a nice glass of red - Van Morrison or Joni Mitchell or Sam Fender. I like to think I’m good at backgammon but my eldest granddaughter often beats me.
I have lived in the Caribbean for the last 40 years and have a home there; but I am moving back to the U.K. where I’ve recently got a flat in a beautiful stately home in the countryside in Yorkshire.

Loves? Three lovely and kind daughters who live in Yorkshire, London and Spain; and five granddaughters who are my world.
