About him
This is very very new to me and I don’t know the protocols or best things to include or exclude so excuse any awkwardness. I suppose most people would think I have an unusual lifestyle, I have been in the music business since the 1960’s.
As a person I seem to have quite a lot of common interests with many on this site.
I love music, family, world & local travel ( I enjoy driving and own a Harley Davidson )
I love laughter, sport, the quiet company of a partner ( lacking for almost 4 years now ) I am quick, quite funny and probably the most optimistic person you may come across and a very good cook who does an Indian banquet in the country cottage garden here for 20 / 30 people each summer. I also go to the Ballet at the Royal Opera House with my sister who I think was a spy - well she danced and worked for the government and has never denied it.
Although still shy at times I mix easily value the better qualities in people and hate pomposity and people with some sort of elevated sense of self entitlement in all walks of life.
I have never voted ( it seemed a waste of time living in Thatcher’s constituency throughout her tenure as PM ) I’m not really interested in politics never having found anyone who represents my sense of what we need leading us.
My late partner was a very special person indeed - as we all are - and she told me I was the most honest man she had ever met. I was previously divorced and have two children & two grand children whom I love & see often.
I am loyal, honest, socially aware & caring , independent and an instigator rather than a follower although I always value opinions.
I live in a beautiful thatched cottage near Marlborough in Wiltshire which is full of antiques & curiosities without being over the top.
Enough for now - probably too much but I hope this speaks to you in some way., this is the first such self appraisal I have ever done and am not that sure I have done it that well.
