About him
I am at a point in my life where I would like to start afresh by taking on new challenges, visiting different places and opening a new chapter, ideally with someone I could get to know and eventually love and grow old together with, big ask but my glass will always be half full, life is too short to be a dull boy.
I can't abide drama or petty arguments, I'm not good at being the centre of attention and would much rather have the persona of a Banksy than a Liberace.
Keeping healthy and fit is important to me, as is getting out and about and discovering new places and taking the time out to take it all in, always better with a good woman by your side.
I live on my own and have a 26yr old son who at one point in his life thought I was Superman until the hormones got to him when I then became the exact opposite (whatever that is) but uncannily he began to develop a state of the art radar capable of pinpointing my wallet from any given distance, thankfully the radar is now obsolete due to his remarkable turnaround. Phew!!
It's hard for me using this avenue of connection as I expect it is for most people over 50, it's not a world I am familiar with, but finding contentment and happiness is a rare commodity, so well worth the try in my view.

My ideal match would be someone I could love and care for. someone who is calm, measured and takes life in her stride, someone who could get to know my thoughts just with a glance at my face, someone who will stand in my corner as I would theirs.
All the peripheral stuff as important as it is, the humour, the travelling, the companionship, the entertainment, will take care of itself should we both 'fit'
