Most importantly, I am definitely not perfect and would not want to wax lyrical here! However, it is important to me that I am a loving, compassionate, loyal, caring believer in God and humanity - respect and tolerance for all!
I love a good laugh with friends and family, and I am generally optimistic.
I am fairly spontaneous in pursuing my interests, but mature, logical and very reflective in decision making.
I enjoy a variety of music, including gospel, and love attending live music and dance events, theatre and food events! I am quite a big foodie
I am quite active - daily walks with the dog and gym at least 3-4 times a week. I practise mindfulness (yoga, meditation) and try to eat healthily with the occasional indulgence. Life is for living after all!
I love short spontaneous breaks and weekends away in the UK and abroad if possible. I find history, culture and language very fascinating and love to explore new places and learn from the locals.
I enjoy watching most sports, except cricket which I must admit I do not understand! Favourite sports - tennis, rugby, athletics.
I mostly enjoy reading, getting lost in a gripping thriller or a light hearted romance, and I love a good conversation! It is great to connect!
When I am not reading, socialising or being active, you can also find me at the cinema! I do love the big screen with the obligatory popcorn!
Overall, my positive outlook on life is driven by my values and beliefs. I am family orientated, very loyal and try to be non-judgemental!

I am not looking for someone to "complete" me, as I am quite complete in myself. I am also realistic about writing the typical 'shopping list' of ideal characteristics!
A mature, easygoing and well mannered companion in various pursuits would be great! Someone who is secure in themselves and does not need validation from others.
Most importantly, we might not necessarily share all the same interests ( independence and individuality are necessary)but I believe it is essential that we share the same values and principles! Minimal conflict and more time spent enjoying each other!
