Happy in my own skin, world, and ways and not too sure how to imagine allowing someone else in.
Would enjoy the warmth and wonder of shared times and space, but without all of the “exposure” quite frankly. How the hell does one get that right…?
I’ve lived half my life in Africa, and the past ten or so years in transit, in the UK. I haven’t amassed any of the usual riches and comfort that most people have, and generally flying by the seat of my pants. I live alone and I love it. I’m energetic and on the go, but I also spend a lot of my down-time doing very little. Never been ambitious, and have some regret about what I haven’t done, or achieved - but on the whole, I’m not that bothered any more. Taking life as it comes, with ease and appreciation. This makes it a little difficult to “sell oneself.” What’s there to say…?

I like laid-back, genuine types, who enjoy off-centre, unconventional ways of being.
I’m fairly tall at 1.75/5.9 so I tend to prefer someone my height or taller (it’s nice to be held by someone who I can disappear into.)
My food tastes are unconventional, and since food is such a central part of life, it helps to be on the same page to some extent.
I don’t drink alcohol much which can be a bit of a deal-breaker socially.
I’m smart in my own way, but also not that up-to-speed in all things. I tend to mix best with those who can allow for my somewhat clumsy ways.
I’m forthright and straight-talking, but also not so easy with social chit-chat, so be warned! Silence is golden
