About her
My passport reminds me I’m 72, but that’s not the age I feel inside. I’m not ready for crochet, cocoa & carpet slippers, more rock gigs, fizz and various heel heights.
Since becoming a widow 10 years ago, I’ve bought a sports car, moved home, launched a business and embraced many new experiences.
I’m game for most things except extreme sports or extreme heat. I have several adventures on my bucket list, it would be good to see if they match. I long to share mine with a like-minded soul. One does involve an open-top sports car and the French Riviera. Why not message and share what’s top of yours?
Adventures don’t have to be big productions, they can be as simple as slipping, sliding & laughing whilst looking for crabs in rockpools; or sipping something hot, wrapped in a duvet, watching the sun come up or down!; or a drive to a pretty village for a mooch around bric a bac shops and lunch and then home to snuggle on the sofa to watch a favourite film.
One of my favourite pleasures is sitting on a sunny patio, first thing in the morning, with a cup of real coffee and listening to the birds in the bushes, pure bliss.
I love my home but I’m not houseproud. Muddy dog paw prints (my sister’s dog is adorable) & sticky fingers (great nephews & nieces) are part of life’s rich pageant and can be cleaned up!
I love live music, most genres, plus the usual Arts. Family is important too and as they live in various parts of the UK travel dates are always in the diary.
