About her
Why should you get to know me...why indeed?...well, I'm great for the right person. I'm not high maintenance, ...salons, false everything etc, ..yet have my own style which I consider to be mildly conservative, comfortably chic, sometimes kooky, ..depends on my mood... as I just re-read this and felt you may be picturing me in muck boots, overalls and generally unkempt! (Not that I'm against muck boots and overalls, it's just not my go-to look). I think my friends would describe me as warm, caring, generous and loving. I'm just getting into discovering my own self, bearing some scars of married life but have raised my three great (grown) kids of whom I'm immensely proud. Looking after others has rather been my way of life for a very long time so I'm now beginning to finally look after myself. I like music of a huge range of genres, festivals, live gigs, movies, books, camping, glamping, foreign travel, dining out, cooking in, just fairly normal really.
(PS. re the photo situation. Red hat, beige hat -recent. Viking - I'm clearly not a Viking. Short hair pic...I didn't want to put this as main pic, as it's a couple years ago, but the site kept throwing out the others (not Viking) as 'not approved for main profile'!.)..
About her ideal match
Would be nice to meet/chat to an honest, genuine gent, who is understanding of a life a lady in her 50s may have had thus far. Someone with a nice smile and a kind face, ideally not hiding behind shades (or no pic at all). Someone who is realistic and emotionally mature and would treat me well with kindness and sincerity. Someone who would also appreciate that I have work and family commitments, so if you are looking for a travel partner at the drop of a hat, I'm not for you.
(PS. I'm partial to facial hair (the gent not me!) and am comfortable as a motorcycle pillion (cruiser not sport!) so if that's you, bonus!)..
I would add that being of a pretty traditional nature, (and I guess this will be my downfall in navigating this unfamiliar path I find myself on, and I will likely be doomed for a life of singledom but there we are)..I am unlikely to reach out to you first with a 'Do You Come Here Often?' ..or similar.. opening greeting!, ... rather I'm a 'speak when spoken to' kinda girl....😊
