I live in a cottage in the countryside with three rescued tom cats—so yes, I may be on my way to becoming that crazy cat lady! Jokes aside, I love animals. I used to have a dog but since I don't want to be quite so tied down, I got cats instead. They’re still shy, having never lived with a human before, but I’m winning them over by hand-feeding them loads of chicken.
I studied opera but don’t sing professionally anymore. Instead I teach therapeutic voice work, which I love. It’s incredible how much a person’s vocal tone reveals—it speaks volumes. Did you know that medical technology can now detect heart disease just by analysing vocal tone? Anyways, I’d love a partner who generally is interested in what I do.
I appreciate good food, but I don’t particularly enjoy cooking. I feel cooking is a more social activity ideally accompanied by a good chat and a glass of wine. That said, I don’t drink every day.
I'm quite an artistic person who likes being creative. My garden was completely overgrown when I moved here, so I’m slowly turning it into what will become a dreamy English cottage-style haven. Could I use some extra muscle for the heavy lifting? Absolutely—hint, hint!
I come from a cosmopolitan background—I’d say quite sophisticated in some ways (but I’m really not a snob!). I grew up in Switzerland, and have lived in Germany, Austria, and South Tirol. I moved to the UK ten years ago after the loss of my beloved sister, who I still dearly miss. Although most people don’t notice, I haven’t lived here all my life, so I don’t get certain cultural references.
I have an independent streak, but I’m also affectionate.
