Excitedly ambitious about life with a strong moral code and arguably traditional values; I enjoy the company of a kind, fun, intellectual gentleman.
After my A levels, I took a gap year and spent 30 years working / living overseas in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, where I met my British husband of 21 years and had my two children. Being an expat, I recognise that I may sometimes have different references and believe in living positively; ‘Live and let live’.
In covid, I returned to the UK in 2020 and got divorced in 2023 and am very happy to be back, enjoying the history, architecture and British sense of humour. However, I do really miss the sunshine and would consider a move between two places.
I really enjoy travelling, having done so extensively, and excited to explore more of Europe - but equally happy at home cooking with music, a podcast, ideally my partner and having family and friends to stay.
Home is important to me, I love to ‘nest’ and it is important to me that we have time just to us. I try to live a healthy life and enjoy proper food, getting outside and doing yoga - not into diets and fads.
Life's real luxuries are time, health, a quiet mind, slow mornings, the ability to travel and a house full of love.
