I’m sociable, out-going and active. I enjoy going to the gym and swimming, sometimes in the sea, even here in the UK! A friend suggested we I should enter a women’s sprint triathlon in 2019, which I was very proud to complete - even if I didn’t break any records and I’m never likely to repeat!!
I love most genres of music, going to the theatre and comedy clubs too. Walking is my passion and I have done several sections of the Camino de Santiago and other long treks closer to home. I’m independent and have a good social circle, so would appreciate someone who respected that and who also enjoyed socialising. I like to cook especially with/for a partner and for others. However, I will not be going on Masterchef any time soon with my cottage pie!! I try to eat a healthy diet but do enjoy eating out too! I have no pets, love dogs though and often look after a friend’s dog when she’s on holiday. I need to say I’m allergic to cats!! ! I love words and language and can be a bit of a pedant at times, in the nicest possible way, of course!!
Friends have told me I’m kind and good fun. They also say I’m funny, but that is a matter of opinion!
I love being in a relationship and sharing experiences but don’t want to be ‘joined at the hip’ and think it’s healthy to have some separate/different interests. I would like to have a committed relationship, but obviously that takes time to develop. Although romantic, I’m level headed (most of the time) and have had experience of recognising when things are maybe not quite as you are led to believe!! I’m certainly not one to be swept off my feet with nonsense! 🤣

Looking for someone to enhance my life and share adventures. Someone who enjoys being outdoors and who wants to make the most of each day, whether that may be climbing a mountain or doing the garden! Someone who sees the fun side of life, but who is also grounded to cope with less fun things, if they come along. I’d like to meet someone who is sociable and who can communicate easily.
