About her
I’m a nature lover, loving nothing better than being on a beach, in the woods or on a mountain in any weather. I love animals, especially dogs who I believe are wonderful companions, loyal and protective and deserving of the same in return. There are lots of places I haven’t visited that I would like to in the future, such as Italy, Portugal, Budapest, to name a few, plus further afield I’d love to see more of Canada.
I love to read a good book, watch documentaries or good films and love to go to concerts, having a varied interest in all things from dance shows to rock concerts.
I’m at the stage in my life where I’ve brought up my children, worked hard all my life and have taken early retirement to enjoy my freedom. If there is someone who has the same outlook on life, let’s see if we can enjoy doing some of these together. I’m not looking for marriage, I’ve tried it, but a special friend sounds nice, so get in touch.

My ideal match is someone who like myself prefers the beach to the city, prefers sitting on a mountain top to being in a pub, who loves nothing better than the sound of leaves crunching under his feet as he walks through the countryside, rather than slipping on spilled beer! Someone with emotional intelligence, who isn’t afraid to show or speak his feelings. A person with integrity and who knows who he is and is able to stand by it and be proud and resilient.
