Kind, active, thoughtful and emotionally available. I enjoy both town and countryside. A passion for gardens, nature and countryside walks. Widowed a few years ago, but hoping to be lucky enough to meet another special person and share more adventures in life. For the right person, my future location will again be flexible. I have lived and worked in SE Asia and travelled extensively in amazing Australia.
I appreciated the calming impact of Buddhism in society while in the Far East. Especially as (while I'm always happy to discuss), I do shy away from arguing, bad manners and loud people.
I had dual careers: in education and finance. Good practical skills as well ... diy, horticulture /gardening, and interested in conservation (post-grad qualif'n).
I'm an active person and fitter than many my age. Confident, but can be a little shy at first. Let's see if we can bring out the best in each other!

So difficult to desribe an "ideal match" until meeting that "someone" and soon after, "just knowing". Probably warm, caring, sharing and peaceful by nature and with energy to do things and wanting to share some common interests. I'm still up for some sort of a project in life, if it happens to centre around a common interest.
