Friends and family describe me as honest, loyal, sincere and caring with a positive, confident outlook on life.
An active, outgoing person, I am looking to share love, romance and laughs with someone which may develop into a deep meaningful relationship without taking life too seriously.
Cooking, gardening and DIY are a few of my favourite pastimes albeit I am not into ‘man caves’ Equally capable as a couch potato, I enjoy watching a good drama with a glass of wine.
I love music, food, theatre ( it could be Derren Brown or a good old ‘who dunnit’ and lots in between), ballet, opera, museums and art galleries and can’t remember the last time I was sitting in the warm sunshine on some idyllic island abroad or exploring some historic site of cultural importance.
There is also a temptation to get back into tennis or badminton or pickleball but I need to find a doubles partner first.
Albeit, not a cordon bleu chef I do enjoy cooking and probably love the preparation as much as the eating. Usually with some great music – anything from Bowie to Beethoven - in the background. I would love to add dancing to that occasion but need someone to show me! I am alert to the dad dancing phenomenon.
A great animal lover, I have supported the RSPCA and Dogs Trust for many years and am a fully licenced wet and muddy dog walker! ( no dogs at present).
Although I live in Newport I am not actually from the area and I have no ties here so am flexible on where I live. My career as a Manufacturing Director led me to run a number of large factories across the UK necessitating moves with the job.
