I’m active and love exploring and adventures, however big or small. I love to walk and cycle instead of driving if I can and this year have been on a road trip adventure in New Zealand which made me feel like a 20something again! Where is the best location you’ve driven/visited recently?
I love listening to all kinds of music, whether in the car, through headphones on a walk/run, at festivals or at home and unbelievably fell in love with Taylor Swift this year (due to my daughter’s influence). Not to worry though, I enjoy a huge variety of genres from Elvis, to gospel to Pink Floyd and sing in the church music group at times. My work keeps me learning in one way, but I am really ready to learn more about another person now and look forward to spending time getting to know each other better.
I have a reputation for rushing around and this is very important when racing to see a sunrise or sunset from a specific location (which I tend to do whenever possible), but also love relaxing and spotting satellites in a clear night sky when the weather permits. I’m not sure anyone has spotted more satellites than me on a viewing evening! But I did need help knowing when it was the international space station. I also love taking photos, especially of nature and landscapes and am a bit obsessed with finding the best viewpoint, whether in a city or more remote location and then dragging friends and family with me.
All in all though, I pride myself in living quite a simple life and appreciate quality time with friends and family, caring for the environment and having fun exercising. I’ve cycled to Paris and Amsterdam from London (obviously taking a ferry at some stage) I’ve swam several Open water swimathons, recently returned from a pilates week in the Canaries and jump around at Zumba when possible. I love going out to the movies/listening to music – Wicked was wicked and I love picking out a few Proms to go to every year.

I would really like to find a guy who enjoys being active but does not live at the gym and who wants to explore new locations with me. He would be able to come up with great ideas for dates, make me laugh and enjoy singing along with me.
