About him
I'm no athlete & I smoke (never in the house, and i could try stopping but no promises) I like go to the pub about once a week & sink a few Guinness and join in the pub humor. I drive a computer for a living, as a result and as I have got older I put on 5 stone over the last 5 years, but I just lost 1.5 st in 12 wks so hope to keep that going and get back to fighting weight, but I have never been skinny sort.
I'm honest & faithful... local female friends say i'm a great guy and a good laugh, but I live in a village in country-ish location so the single pool is low.
I play piano and other instruments.. i'm quite musical and I love live bands. I go to 4 or 5 folk festivals every year in my camper-van that I am building myself. I'm OK with stuff like that, DIY etc.
I have my own business in mechanical pipework design, it will not make me rich but I'm well off and have no financial issues. I have my own house all paid for.
I have not traveled abroad much, we tended to go for the camper van or country cottage breaks in the UK. I would travel if that's your thing as long as we get to visit ruins, or aquariums, maybe theater, NASA space center (always wanted to see that)... I just cant seem to sit by a pool or on a beach for more than an hour or so, but i'm quite content with a puzzle book, crossword or even a jigsaw, i don't read books as I have to read and write 5 days a week for work.
Being a brummy my humor is based on sarcasm, and I love a bit of banter and making fun of each other, you know, not taking things too seriously.
To be clear I won't skydive or bungee jump, simply don't get the attraction... but I know how to have fun.

Must be honest, faithful and caring, looking to meet someone who you can build a future with and journey the peaks and troughs together and support each other.
A sense of humor is a must, and likes to socialise and have a few drinks in the local, pub lunch every now and again. I do watch films in the evenings to relax but also have a few hobbies.
Someone who would enjoy weekends away at music festivals and the odd evening out to see a band. I have a wide appreciation when it comes to music so happy to try your thing so to speak.
I think someone who is also widowed would be a good idea but not essential, being widowed is vastly different form being single and/or divorced, a widower would know what I mean.
I have no interest in a princess or diva who thinks they are entitled somehow to sit back and take take take expecting the man to provide and pay for everything, It would have to be someone who has built from bottom up and proud of what you have achieved and can achieve again with a little bit of 50/50 effort, its not about the money its the principal for me. I would treat you like a queen as long as we rule alongside each other.
When it comes to spare time, I am quite happy to amuse myself, hobbies etc. if you want to follow your hobby preferences, its nice to be involved with each others interests but in my opinion its healthy to take time for yourself, so dont ask me to join your knitting club LOL :-)
Oh well I have blabbered on enough I guess, or hope...
PS. I'm easy going and don't stand on ceremony so txt me for a chat, it will be fine, and if its not for you just say so... maybe you would like to stay friends but no more...its always hard to do, or be on the receiving end but it has to be done and I will understand.
