I’m generally self-deprecating - so difficult to write something here. I smile and laugh a lot, so obviously find myself (or others) hilarious. I can dip into serious mode when required.
I am reasonably active, educated (I think) and enjoy being out. I’ve run a couple of businesses over the years and have been in and out of early retirement, but settled for part-time for now.
Outside of ‘hardly’ working, I enjoy long walks regular exercise (Wing Chun), renovating my house and receiving regular advice from my four adult children 🤣.
I enjoy good food and wine, traveling, road trips, hiking, movies, concerts and rugby.
I have a positive, forward looking outlook, but could probably do with being a bit more spontaneous. I can’t lie, and I hope you don’t get burnt by the warmth that I feel I radiate!

Never expected to be here at this stage in my life but it comes with fear and excitement.
Looking forward to meeting someone who is grounded, confident in themselves, radiates warmth and affection, patient and understanding. But that’ll all go out the window if you’re just genuinely lovely.
It would be nice to have similar outlooks on life and values, enjoy laughing with or at me. Someone with a reasonably active lifestyle, curious, but ready to work together on a relationship and have at least some shared interests. I am okay with my own company but will need support at times. The really magic happens when something is shared or experienced together.
