About her
Hello! I lead a rich and varied life which I would very much like to share with someone fun and adventurous, who is also looking for friendship and companionship.
After a fulfilling career in Investor Relations I retired 10 years ago to spend more time with my family. I have travelled extensively, both with my career and with family and friends, and my love of travel continues to the present day. My son is in Australia and as well as regularly meeting up with him (in Tasmania last month; Japan next April), I am involved in a wine tasting club for doctors and other professionals, that arranges wine and gastronomy tours in the UK and Europe. When at home in the countryside near Exeter I enjoy long walks with my Labrador. I love to read and have a large, eclectic collection of books. Another passion is the theatre which I enjoy in all its forms - drama, ballet, musicals, Cirque du Soleil and other live performance.
My friends and family are extremely important to me and I love to spend time with them.
Friends tell me that I am warm and caring, positive and personable. I try to always take time to listen to others and to support them gently when necessary. I’m told that my energy and enthusiasm for life is infectious and that I am a fun travelling companion.
Although I live in wellies at home I do enjoy the finer things in life and would love to share these, as well as the beautiful Devon countryside, with someone special.

My ideal partner would be loving and kind, considerate and thoughtful, and interested in the world around us. Someone who is equally happy squelching through mud in Devon, dining at a Michelin starred restaurant or making the most of an unexpected stopover in Singapore.
