About him
I have an outgoing personality, I’m told that I look and act much younger than my age. i’ve been involved in the arts for most of my life including long time in Amdam, both acting and directing, an erstwhile collector of, and interest in modern abstract art although much downsized now. I love music especially jazz, classical, opera, blues and classical rock. I’ve been a socialist, but not a lefty, all my life but feel very dispirited at the present time. I enjoy (understatement) good wine, good food. and cooking. I played sport for most of my life, rugby, cricket, and finally golf but not for the last 20 years. I’v been a lifelong supporter of York City. I can engage well with people, have a quick sense of humour and I’m able to make people laugh. I have strong political views and, to get it out of the way, I’m very anti-Tory. But don’t get me wrong I have a love of life and people. I have spent many holidays in France, Italy, and the Greek islands and lived in Cornwall for the last 30 years, but I’ve returned to York to be near the family. Unfortunately, my activities have been somewhat restricted as I stopped driving some years ago but I’m anything but housebound.. And finally. I have to say that I do not have pets.
