So, are you sitting on the train on the way to work staring out of the window into the gloom and wondering what life is all about. Desperately hoping Mr. Darcy will come and sit next to you and crack open a bottle of Bollinger Grand Annee ? Hey, get real, there’s only a one in four chance of that happening so how about me in the meantime ?
I’m happy, Iaid back, intelligent (know what osmosis is and what DNA stands for….that’ll do). Have travelled extensively both in Europe and further afield, always thinking of heading off somewhere. I’m baggage free (not sure what that means but notice everybody wants it so put it in), emotionally stable (unless I listen to Maria Callas or Shirley Bassey in which case I’m in floods of tears).
I can cook. Either ends up Michelin Star or in the dog. About 50/50.
Always looking for new things to try, going to art class and learning to draw or paint would be next on my list, I’d love to learn to dance but don’t think I would be any good (I even get the Hokey Cokey wrong, I put the left leg in when everyone else is doing the right leg…causes chaos ☹️)
From London originally but now live in Poole (long story). Return regularly though, can’t beat a walk around Hyde Park, a wander around a gallery wondering if I could have painted that Rothko myself and a good lunch. Love being near the sea and countryside as well though.
I enjoy theatre, especially musicals (I know, I know, can’t help it), country pubs, a log fire, reading, hiking (just walked some of the Santiago De Compostela Camino…gasp !).
Sports….squash was my game but thinking of taking up paddle tennis or pickle ball instead (God am I getting old ?)
Have a Camper Van called Hugo that allows me to whizz off on adventures across Europe on the spur of the moment.

Hmm, someone I click with would be number one. Must have a good sense of humour. Enjoys travelling, food, piggy backs (giving not receiving), someone who knows how to do things I don’t so she can teach me how to do them….a music lover (music is the wine that fills the cup of silence)….Oh and baggage free…well maybe just one bag.
