About him
I have an open outlook on life which enables me to see the brighter side of nearly every situation. I like variety having had a job that never had two days the same. Life needs to be fun not glum. I'm loyal and trustworthy and have a good moral compass, probably from my strict, early northern, catholic upbringing. I like the area I live in and I'm often looking for something new to do, or places to go. The daily aim is to go on a walk as often as possible. I've been the same waist size for about the last '32' years. I like fixing stuff, if I can, and prefer everything to work properly as designed. I enjoy having a fun time with good people (who doesn't). I'm semi-retired, my name is Mike and I live in Twyford. I can cook but prefer someone else to take the reins as I 'peel' away in the background. I believe that there is an equilibrium to everything in order to enjoy lots. I'm 25% down on my hearing (Deep Purple at The Rainbow 1972 I reckon) and I wear hearing aids. I have many different interests but not fanatical about any one particular thing. A balance to everything is the key, therefore my fighter jet pilot training sessions are just as important as my butterfly spotting trips.......🙃

I like my other half to be kind, inquisitive and not be hung up on too many political issues. A busy/inventive or creative mind is attractive to me, but not imperative. Love trivia. Who knows what works between two, but when it does it does, and, there's only one way to find out. I think there are lot's of obvious things that we all naturally want in a relationship, so to add to that, I'd like someone who has the ability to see and appreciate life from all directions. Someone who is able to swiftly resolve any disagreements (not that there should be many IMHO) in a healthy way and express themselves freely and honestly. Someone confident in themselves. Compatible; (adjective: (of two things) able to exist or occur together without problems)...... fun and humour is the key for sure.
