I always try to look on the bright side of life and have been told I have a great sense of humour. I enjoy walks with the dog, country pubs, eating out and nights in front of the TV with a take away and a bottle of wine. I am very low maintenance and very kind and caring. I just miss that special someone in life to make memories with and share the good things.
After the very sudden and unexpected death of my husband in 2021 I realised that life's too short to waste. Do things that make you happy, live life in the moment and make memories while you can as you never know what the future holds. Don't waste time on petty arguments or hold grudges. I try to enjoy the simple things in life now and be grateful for things.

My ideal match would be a kind, caring soul who doesn't take life too seriously. Someone who enjoys the simple things in life and is hardworking with a great sense of humour. Laughter and honesty should be very important to them. Someone who isn't just out for a good time or a one night stand as that doesn't interest me at all.
Someone who understands that this is me dipping my toe into something I've never done and who finds it ad strange and scary as me. My partner would have to like mad cockapoos as I have one and sorry but I couldn't date a smoker.
