Lovely guy, honest!! And please forgive the pic that looks like I’ve a spear going through my head :-).
Moved to Devon from London a couple of years ago after split from long term partner, and gradually finding my feet.
I live in a tiny house in a pretty village on the edge of Dartmoor, which I own outright, but which still needs a little tlc. I also entertain thoughts of spending more time in France, Spain or Italy. Having recently been to France after a hiatus, I feel very at home there. It’s a beautiful country, but Spain and Italy both have their pull. My family have owned a house in a small village, in the Valencia region in Spain, since the 1970s and my mother now lives there … so I always feel at home visiting after 50 odd years. Abruzzo in Italy is somewhere I’ve a small connection to and driving, in autumn, along mountain roads through wheat fields, bordered by cypress trees and dotted with red poppies, is always lovely - I've not been for a while so hope to get out there again soon. I'd love to show someone this beautiful part of the world.

Looking for someone really, really nice, with enough time and space in their heart for someone else. Ideally a little bit romantic … tactile and huggy, and a perhaps a little sexy, would be nice. Not interested in playing games or in someone who isn’t sure what they’re looking for … a lesson recently learnt, in the spirit of full disclosure :-). Ideally someone open-minded about people and places … snobby and judgemental don't sit easily with me.
I’ve a certain amount of baggage (who doesn’t approaching 60), in the form of children in London whom I co-parent, but which doesn’t rule my life … someone with manageable, negotiable commitments? And having family commitments of my own, I do honestly understand how important they are :-).
Someone who also understands how to bring equality to building a relationship and perhaps a life together … be it emotionally or the actual fiscal sharing of perhaps modest resources. If I’m honest, I’m no knight in shining armour, but I have achievable dreams and aspirations … and would like to meet someone lovely, genuinely inquisitive and with an interest in life, with whom to share them. Reasonably young at heart and not too limited to a bourgeois mindset would be quite nice too. I’m aware that I may have limited my dating pool there, but better to be clear :-).
