I am a widower living in a village near Dorking in the Surrey Hills a beautiful part of the country. I enjoy exploring the UK, Walking, Treasure Hunting in Charity Shops and Antique Fairs, Volunteering, Eating Out, and Cooking. Since retirement I have trained as a bereavement and terminal illness counsellor working as a volunteer. I would love to tour the UK in a camper van! For the last 6 years before I retired from the software industry I managed sub Sahara Africa travelling there and meeting the people was amazing and humbling at the same time. I believe (hope) I am an empathetic and caring person and I still have a lot of life to live!
