Creative, thoughtful, bright, independant, practical, capable, kind and funny, I think that's me. Confident and happy lady with lots to look forward to.
I have a lucky gift in that I never get bored. I'm still working part time doing things I love to do and can't see myself retiring to sit with my feet up. I'm very conscious of the world around me and try to tread through life lightly.
Don't be put off by the fact that I am an Island girl. I have ferry tickets, an old car that still runs perfectly and love nothing more than a train journey!
I love to learn, laugh, travel, make stuff, eat and have a huge amount of things that I enjoy, from sea swimming, sailing and messing about in boats to mucking about in my shed mending or making things. Food and cooking is important too, as well as taking in the beauty of the countryside I live in by being out in all weathers. Art and design are a massive part of my life (I draw and paint) and you'll make me content if you take me to a gallery or museum.
I am infinitely happier sketching than shopping and much more Father Ted than Friends.
