I'm quite an easy going cheerful person.
I think it's important to laugh and I do have a good laugh with friends or colleagues most days.
I always have a book on the go and have quite eclectic taste. I'm currently reading a Maggie O'Farrell and my two previous books were Tokyo Express and Utz by Bruce Chatwin.
I do enjoy a good walk in the countryside and then perhaps supper in a cosy pub by the fire.
Previously due to family commitments I haven't been able to travel much but I am trying to make up for that now. I like one to two holidays a year with a couple of city breaks thrown in.

I am looking for a serious, long term relationship but I think it is unlikely that I would ever consider marriage again.
I have a wonderful family and set of friends and I would like a new partner to be a part of that. I would also like to be a part of my partner's friends and family social group.
