About her
Those who know me best would say that I’m a good friend and travel companion. I love hard, laugh easily, and listen well. My grandchildren love my stories (“Make me a story from your mind, Grandma!”), crafted from a lifetime of crazy adventures and extraordinary encounters, blended with wild imaginings and a fair amount of magic. Because of my insatiable curiosity about this beautiful world and its people, I’ve learned to be adaptable — as comfortable in a wilderness tent as in a 5-star hotel— and fairly tolerant, although I have no time for bigots and blowhards. I’ve spent a lot of time in museums, concert halls, and old churches and appreciate artistic and musical talent, although I lack both, much to my dismay. No delusions here! I strive for authenticity and honesty, tempered with kindness, and to always do better.
