About her
Would describe myself as an educated working-class Northerner. A retired lecturer who's still adjusting to having a lot of free time, therefore currently doing a lot of fannying around. I used to adore country walks and camping, and I'm working on becoming more physically able to do that again.
Quite attractive and stylish, discerning, and can scrub up well when required. Sometimes nerdy, almost certainly neurospicy, with a certain amount of baggage spiritually and also actual baggage that does require someone to carry it onto trains, ships maybe planes but very careful about my carbon foot print. I've lived abroad and am pretty culturally knowledgeable and aware. Speak Turkish.
I am witty, and my greatest pleasure is making people laugh. Also analytical and interested in many things; I love learning (became a black belt in my 40s). A little bit obsessed with current affairs—a deeply depressing landscape at the moment—but I’m tough and optimistic, hoping for better times ahead.
