About him
I am often seen as light hearted with GSOH and good with people (and pets). I can natter until the cows come home -not that I keep cows! I dont take life or myself too seriously. Relaxing and reflection are good for the body and mind mixed with ambition and a desire to achieve goals and develop new skills. I like a good book and have read a few autobiographies (Alex Ferguson. Paul O Grady, Terry Wogan, Billy Connolly and snippets of Clarkson to name a few) .
Recently retired and out of the hustle and bustle of work with time to broaden my horizons and try new things.
I enjoy most forms of entertainment and the outdoors so theatre, cinema, galleries, eating out, garden/parks and a good walk all interest me. I love live music with a preference for Soul, Blues and pop and have been known to jive when the music comes on. Jiving is a hobby of a sort. I struggled to master the Waltz and Lindyhop though.
I get a buzz from gardening as its great escapism and gets the creative juices flowing. Meeting friends socially over a pub lunch is a joy. Occasionally I get to take my brothers dog Bob, on a walk with the local walking group. Bob seems to like pubs -the food I guess.
Hoping to get to see more musicals and get around the London galleries. Travel is also on my bucket list and I am off to Barbados in December.
I am mild-mannered and dont have many dislikes . Rudeness, cruelty, littering and bad behaviour do annoy me though.
