About me, well I hope my friends would describe me as kind, caring, friendly and warm, though probably a bit shy to start with. I am a tactile sort of person and more likely to go in for a hug than shake hands. I have been told I look and act younger than my age (who doesn’t like a bit of flattery) and I like to think it’s true.
I like to look after myself, I try to eat healthily some/ most of the time , I do yoga / Pilates / meditation and like to swim. I like to read novels as well as informative books especially health and wellbeing. I enjoy the peacefulness of gardening, walks on the beach and cosy nights in. I am comfortable in my own company but enjoy having the company of others too. I am self employed and work part-time from home.
On the flip side, I enjoy meeting up with friends at the pub for drinks and or live music,
I like going to nice restaurants or meeting up for coffee and cake. I love to have friends over to share food, especially if someone else is there to supply the conversation, pass me things, and top up my wine glass while I cook ( my cooking varies but it’s usually fairly edible).

Someone who is sociable, but doesn’t need to be the centre of attention and is happy to mix with my friends and eventually family and to introduce me into to their lives too. I’m looking for that certain someone who I can be comfortable with, who is happy to share a bottle of wine (I honestly don’t drink all the time!) and chat about something and nothing all evening, or even just cuddle up and say nothing. I am not interested in anyone who wants to play games (unless it’s a board game or cards and then you’re on ). I’m looking for someone who can be my best friend and more.
