About her
My friends describe me as sunny, caring and warm, always with a smile on my face and fun to be with. I am busy and sociable and love being with my friends and having a good chat over a coffee or a glass of wine. I retired from a successful career in teaching (and also worked briefly for BA). Since then I have worked at Glyndebourne and currently work at a multi arts venue. which I love! The Arts of all kinds are important to me so it’s a perfect casual job and I feel very lucky to have it! I particularly enjoy theatre and all sorts of different concerts and a wide variety of music. I love to dance!
I like to be busy however I also look forward to quiet moments for myself. I love reading and the pleasure of taking my time browsing round a good book shop. I've practised yoga for many years and now also go to the gym, just to keep fit; I prefer a blustery walk along the seafront. I enjoy watching sport, especially the Welsh rugby team. I love my food and regularly eat out - I'm spoilt for choice of pubs and restaurants in Hove. I love travelling and am interested in exploring more, both in the UK and abroad. I'm about to venture off to India which I am really excited about.
I don't watch much TV but when I do I enjoy a good drama and documentaries. I like to chat,enjoying good discussions but also lighthearted conversations.
Last but in no way least, I have 2 gorgeous grown-up boys who I'm very close to and extremely proud of.
