At the risk of sounding like a labrador, I think my friends would describe me as smart, witty, loyal and reliable. I should also add that while I am usually busy, I enjoy doing nothing at times (perhaps I am a labrador after all!!).
I prefer deep and interesting conversations to small talk. I love reading, walking while listening to music or podcasts, learning new things (currently trying to teach myself to play the ukulele - with limited success!), history, travel, comedy, theatre and film. I don't like those with a sense of entitlement. I hate celery (the devil's food!).
About her ideal match
I'm looking for someone kind, who makes me laugh, who can be deeply serious as well as deeply silly. Someone independent and comfortable with their own company. Activities together? I'm open to most things from a pint in the pub to going to the opera. Ideally I'd like to meet someone to have a drink with, go to the cinema or comedy night with, maybe travel a bit, or just binge watch a box set or chat long into the night. Initially at least I'm looking for friendship, companionship, whatever you like to call it. I'm not looking for one night stands. If friendship were to then blossom into something more, that would be a bonus. But I'm far more interested in mental connection than physical.
