I’m David, a confident very positive down-to-earth guy who truly values the simple joys in life—especially a good laugh.
My friends would say I'm a little bit cheeky because I'm always winding them up and play practical jokes.
I consider myself a gentleman with old-fashioned values and standards, and feel although manners cost nothing they are very important.
I have a couple of businesses and work hard in the week, but, come evenings and weekends I make the most of every minute.
My real passion is being out doors (weather permitting) and love walking in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales that surround my home.
Being in the kitchen is my escape from a busy day at work, I love cooking and baking, and have recently started cooking Chinese food.

I’m a bit of a hopeless romantic, with a deep love for Motown and Soul music.
I don’t gamble, take drugs, or overindulge in alcohol, (a pint or a glass of wine is more my style). I enjoy my exotic holidays away from the masses, love exploring new places, experiencing, different cultures and foods.
Closer to home, weekends away with a bit of retail therapy then a nice meal is a perfect way to spend time together.
