About her
I have a large circle of friends and am always busy, but miss the dynamics of male company, and although I don’t ‘need’ a man, it would be nice to know that I’m important to someone. The ‘age numbers’ may say otherwise, but I know I’m still young (22 was where I think I’m stuck!) and fun loving at heart, and I want to live every moment. After all, we’re only here once so let’s enjoy the journey! I love the outdoor life and country living, spending time with my dogs (2 cairn terriers - like me they’re small, compact, discerning but oh so loyal!) and my 2 Shetland ponies (broken to carriage drive), but I also enjoy live theatre, cinema, travel and good conversation over a bottle of wine. A like minded male friend who’d like to share some time with me and my ‘boys’ (the dogs are non negotiable) would be the icing on my cake.
I don’t suffer fools gladly - life is too short for that - but I find people of all types endlessly fascinating - people watching is a great way to pass the time! - and have friends from many backgrounds and walks of life so find it quite difficult to categorise a ‘type’ that I am drawn to. It’s more about the chemistry but at this time in my life knowing what type of person has that ‘je ne sais quio’ is hard to quantify.
I have lived abroad - I grew up in Zambia- and I’m definitely drawn to sunnier climes. The downside of my outdoor life is the British weather. I do however like to travel though this tends to be mostly in the U.K. nowadays as I like to take my dogs with me.
I’m self sufficient and love driving (cars and equines!) and spending time with family who live ‘in the South’ so am busy and independent. I know how to use power tools and paintbrushes so as I said previously - I don’t need anyone - but it would be a bonus to have a ‘plus one’ when Hugh Jackman is busy being Wolverine!

I’d like to meet someone who is first and foremost a friend; someone to add what’s missing from my life over recent years. I love to laugh so a sense of humour is a must, and I’m the eternal optimist so can’t cope with negativity. And whilst I’m a country girl at heart and I’m happiest in my jeans, I think I scrub up pretty well too - and I like a posh frock moment sometimes. I enjoy evenings out, live theatre, and just looking good are all important to me too. Live music, rock concerts - I’m willing to try most things. Us country folk know how to party but also are happy with our own company, so to be part of my inner circle you’d have to be quite special.
