About him
Hello.
I've no idea if what I'm about to write is the right way to approach this, but here goes.
My wife, who I also met on the internet 22 years ago, passed away last year, cancer sadly took her after fighting it for 19 years. I would now like to rebuild my life with someone who is down to earth, loves the outdoors, adventure, walking in the hills, a bit of cycling and all those sort of things.,
I will give a brief outline of what we did and planned to do. We moved to France in 2003, spent ten years there renovating and running small businesses. We then headed off to Spain and eventually found an off grid mountain Casa that needed renovating. We left Spain around covid time as my wife now needed treatment every month and we moved back to the UK. Once that was under control we started to house sit until we found a piece of land/buildings to build our forever home. We did find a plot in Scotland, it was all due to go ahead, but cancer came back with gusto and that was that. The project was off as I didn't want to do it on my own. So I'm still house sitting in and around Yorkshire till I get my head around what to do with the rest of my naturals.
Now it's time to pull my head out of the sand and move forward. I would still like to do some sort of project as I'm an artisanal builder, although this is not a hard and fast plan. I'm open to any thoughts and ideas that are out there as I'm not a person who sits around waiting for the inevitable.
I'd best add, I'm a Yorkshire man, fit, healthy and a young 67, who loves plenty of banter. Most importantly, I'm honest, caring and open.
