I'm easy going and I feel confident in any company as I feel am a good listener. I enjoy my hobbies - my tennis which I still play to a reasonable level, photography (love portraits), some diy, and my voluntary work which helps to keep me busy (retirement is not there to take it easy! )
I love live theatre especially musical theatre and/or a good film (true stories I find are often the best). I have a very diverse taste in music, I love musical comedy (think Victor Borge, so clever, or Bill Bailey, Victoria Wood etc ) but a good classical piano recital too. There are so many amazing young pianists coming through too ( think Yuja Wang - yes, do look her up!)
I have lived and worked in New Zealand for 5 years over 10 years ago now which was a lovely experience. I never had a gap year but that was my gap year(s) ! I enjoy travelling around this country as we have some wonderful history to enjoy and around Europe, which I haven't done recently. However Bologna is next on my list as well as Porto, and Krakow. My friends might describe me as caring, respectful and faithful and (I hope ) fun to be around. I certainly do not take myself too seriously so beware!
Beware! This digital dating however is a numbers game and we can easily match with anyone. Do text if you feel like it but the only serious way is to meet up for a coffee and a chat. I would like that.

Very happy in the company of anyone who is warm, confident, loving, non judgemental and non controlling. I can be frivolous at times in the right company and irreverent at other times, so someone who is fun to be with, loving and carefree would be lovely.
My friends and family are important to me and someone who can slot into my group dynamic would be just fantastic. So you better like them, 'cos I do! Just would like some shared family values.
