About her
I am a woman who appreciates the simple things in life. Extensive travelling is not what I am interested in, although I realise the world has a lot to offer. I would, however, be keen on exploring all the UK has to offer.
One of my favourite things to do is walk to a special place in my village and relax under a tree, whilst listening to bird song and the wind blowing through its leaves. Nature is amazing, isn't it?
I am in the midst of starting a new chapter in my life. It is exciting, nowhere near daunting, and at this age, I realise it will also be the best. Nothing will be taken for granted. Everything will be savoured.
I've been an artist, a painter to be exact, for as long as I can remember. Therefore, I am highly visual. I marvel at the beauty around me every day. Music plays a very big part in my life as well. I am a YouTube junkie, listening to songs I do and do not know. I especially appreciate it while I am painting.
This new chapter in my life has begun with an outlook to eating healthily. I do enjoy eating most things, but I have pretty much eliminated anything that could cause any harm to my body. As a result, I am thinner, more fit, and full of energy. This is a lifestyle for me now, and I am not interested in turning back. My current cover photo is only temporary; it will change as my body changes.
I am an American, an ex-pat to be specific, who loves the UK and plans on living the rest of my life here. 22 years here have converted me to the ways of life on this little island; America is nothing but a distant memory to me now. I love the UK and all it has to offer.
So much more to write about, but for now, at least you get the gist of who I am. I'm real, I'm honest, (perhaps to my own detriment at times), I'm creative, I'm kind and loving, I'm articulate, I am very healthy, and I've been told I am not too hard on the eyes.

I am looking for a man to share the rest of my life with eventually, who is first and foremost: honest, healthy, sincere, caring, nurturing, has an excellent sense of humour, sexy, and intelligent. Ideally, I'd like to start out as friends, go out and enjoy what life has to offer...and if this leads to a serious relationship, all the better. Oh, and he must love giving and receiving hugs on a daily basis. Yes, please, on that one.
If he enjoys music, good conversation, and can teach me anything I may not know, that's a definite plus. If he has or loves dogs, great!
I'm really into learning about good health and love to go for walks in nature, which could be amongst the trees or on a sandy beach; someone to happily accompany me in such things would be wonderful.
The biggest deal breakers for me would be someone who smokes, is a heavy drinker, and who is a "player". I am also not interested in bikers (sorry, they scare me).
