Grounded and down to earth, love nature, open skies and decent coffee! A sense of humour helps to maintain my sanity, my friends would say I am loyal, intelligent and interested..I have my moments...
Would describe myself as a socialist in my world view which sadly seems a long way away from how society is structured now, just seems so unfair, the disparity between the value of peoples time and the hidden wealth that starves the social structure...listening to the news is akin to dipping my toe into a trough of old sheep dip...we must be better than all that!?
Love stories, reading, radio, podcasts as I do music... whilst on a project, working or in the bath!...handy with a hammer and have built all sorts over the years although never professionally. For that I have been a psychotherapist, brewer and a coffee roaster, different versions of this life...
I have lots of ideas for future projects...one that I have had in mind for a least 30 years is to open a cafe that can house both my coffee roasting business and maybe a micro brewery....somewhere in the countryside...woody, rustic, wood burner, old sofas and great coffee...have lived most of my life on the land, that feels like home..
Love the coast and often go down to the beach to think, drink tea and relax....
Outlook on life? Seems to be getting shorter!!...so keeping active and healthy is part of it as is having someone special to share it with...I am a bit of a solar panel and so over the years have lived in warm, sunny climes that just makes it all seem easier...having said that, there is something nice about lighting the fire and getting cosy in winter just not September!?!)
