It’s always tricky to describe oneself, so how about I share some of my favourite things?
I relish the warmth of a coal fire, the simplicity of a green salad, and the thrill of a good fireworks display. Daily yoga keeps me grounded and trim. I enjoy relaxed board games and the occasional round of bridge. I believe acts of kindness—big or small—always brighten the day.
I’m a fan of con-movies, Ella Fitzgerald, and lazy Sunday mornings spent with the papers in bed and a strong coffee. I have a soft spot for the Royal Academy, lounging in cinema sofas, and enjoy listening to podcasts like The Globalist, The Daily, The Rest is Politics US. The tingle when the lights go down in the theatre, the smell of the air as you step off a plane, the taste of a new cuisine are some of life’s thrills and oh toes in white sand.
Painted toes in warm sand are lovely on holiday, but just as good at home with something cute to wear.
Mostly I love having serious or casual conversations and sharing relaxed, easy laughter.
Bonus points if you can tolerate my request for extra gravy or will patiently endure my very basic Spanish attempts!
