Despite the appearance of some of my photos, I am 8.5 stone. :-)
Apparently some of them make me look overweight. Whatever next. :-)
I am quietly confident, open, and like trying new experiences.
I was a software developer for British Aerospace and in healthcare. I enjoyed most of it, but now enjoy even more having time to pursue hobbies and being able to travel. And travelling is so much nicer with someone else by your side.
Love watching films, especially with one special person, perhaps with a glass of wine, and a fire.
I keep fit by playing tennis 3-4 times a week, and doing ceroc dancing. Lately I've taken up pickleball.
Love weekend breaks, and holidays abroad. Italy, Greece and France are favourite destinations, but I'd also like to try African or Far East countries, possibly for 3-6 week stints as it's a long way to go for just a week.
I love going on wildlife watching holidays, and have recently taken up photography and bridge.

I am looking for someone who values support and trust in a relationship. Someone with whom I can discuss issues between us openly and honestly. Someone who can laugh at themselves, and not take life too seriously.
I believe that there is someone out there who can become my soulmate, who I can chat to about everything and nothing. And we can snuggle on the sofa with a glass of wine, chatting or watching a film.
It would be nice if we had some of the same hobbies, but also some of our own, so that we could connect at the end of the day and compare notes.
I'd like to find someone who likes to try new adventures and experiences. I've done some scuba diving in the past, and would be up for doing that again, although probably only shallow dives. But snorkelling is just as fun, and far less dangerous.
I'd love to find a partner who wants to go on European holidays abroad - Italy, Greece and France are favourite destinations - but also travel further afield as well eg. Africa and the Far East.
