Friends tell me I’m easy to talk to and funny, with a good sense of humour, I do like to laugh.
Being more serious, I’m honest, kind and reliable and my family and friends are very important to me.
I enjoy cooking, pottering in the garden, reading, TV when there’s something worth watching, researching my family history and drawing and painting. I aim to haul myself off to the gym 2-3 times a week too in an attempt to stay reasonably fit!
I do always like to have music on too - in the house or in the car - and I’m a keen Rock Choir member, it’s great fun.
I’d say I’m pretty active, busy and positive, just - so far - missing finding the right friend or partner and changing both our lives for the better. Could it be you?

I lost my husband very suddenly and unexpectedly a few years ago after a long and happy marriage.
I’ve come to terms with being on my own but that doesn’t mean I like it. Life is just more enjoyable - and complete - when shared with the right person.
I’m hopeful about forming a new relationship although I think it can take a little time to build trust and properly get to know someone.
I think it’s healthy too to have some of your own interests and not necessarily share everything.
