I would describe myself as an educated and "awake" person, with an appetite for the truth. I am 66, but am told I look mid fifties. My hair left me many years ago and what's left is kept very very short, no whispy comb overs
I have been a Christian for 44 years but over the last 8 years have delved into looking more deeply into just who's pulling our strings. I really don’t like being lied to or taken for a fool. I am easily pleased and take great pleasure in the simple things in life. I really enjoy a good discussion or debate, but still like a good laugh with my close friends and family who mean the world to me. I really enjoy a good cup of tea, a nice drop of real ale and I make my own very nice red wine. I used to swim at least 4 times a week and walk to keep fit, pretty important as I am a diabetic. Unfortunately I had a heart attack 11 weeks ago, which came as a bit of a shock, given my exercise regime. I was actually swimming when it happened. Fortunately, it was a mild attack and just required one stent. Its now a careful process to get back to being as fit as I can be. I really miss going out to nice places with someone, especially the countryside, seaside a nice town,
or even just having the odd carvery. I used to to go and see live music, but again, its not so much fun on your todd. Life can be unpredictable and being alone really isn't for me.

That's a bit of a tall order, someone of faith or willing to talk about God and with an open mind, willing to question things. Someone who likes being outside and trys to keep healthy. Is accepting of faults in others and realises how precious being alive really is. Enjoying the odd nice pint or a glass of red would be nice. Finding enjoyment in the simple things of life. The sun, fresh air, a walk along a river, listening to the birds on a spring day. I am, what you see is what you get and would expect someone to be themselves. I don't like tattoos, I think we should be as natural as possible.
