I would describe myself as a sociable and outgoing person. I have been a Christian for 44 years, and as you can imagine my faith is very important to me.
I take great pleasure in the simple things in life (the best things in life really are free). I really enjoy meeting and chatting to people, and like a good laugh with my close friends and family who mean the world to me. I love nothing more than a nice simple wholesome meal, a good cup of tea, a nice drop of real ale, or a glass of my home made and very nice red wine. I really liked growing my own food but unfortunately I now have a small garden, so just a few spuds this year
I try to swim at least 4 times a week and also walk to keep fit, pretty important as I am a diabetic. Unfortunately I had a mild heart attack in Oct 24, which came as a bit of a shock, I was actually swimming when it started!!. I`m back in the water again and trying to keep as fit as I reasonably can be.
I really miss going out for the day with someone, especially the countryside, to wander around a nice village or town, or walk along a river, coffee and a nice piece of cake being an essential part of the day . I love the sea, be it at home or going to the Med, sitting outside to eat and drink on a warm night is simply wonderful. I enjoy live music, but again, its not so much fun on your own. I really do miss female company, and after being on my own for four and a half years, it`s well and truly time to meet someone new.

Ideally, someone of faith or who is willing to talk about God and with an open mind, willing to question things. Someone who likes being outside and try`s to keep healthy. I value honesty, it`s the foundation of any relationship, and being open and truthful. Someone who is accepting of faults in others and realises how precious being alive really is. Enjoying the odd drop of good ale, a nice coffee, or a glass of red wine would be nice. Finding enjoyment in the simple things of life, the sun, fresh air, a walk along a river, or a promenade by the sea, listening to the birds on a spring day. I try to be real, "what you see is what you get" and would expect someone to be themselves. I am a tactile person and love hugging, it just makes you feel better.. I don't really like tattoos, a nice discrete one or two is ok, I just think we should be as natural as possible.
