About her
My friends would I hope describe me as loyal, honest, kind, fun, trustworthy compassionate and a good listener. I love being by the sea when I am up on Arran which is magical and I love the countryside, as well as enjoying friends and family in London and theatre and exhibitions and seeing beautiful gardens. I love entertaining and I am a big foodie and love a man who can cook! I am hoping to meet a man who is gentle, well spoken, has old fashioned manners, intelligent and feels as comfortable going to Ascot/Glynderbourne as he does standing at a peg on a wet rainy day! My passions are politics, current and foreign affairs, sport and wellness. I am also extremely interested in Healthy Living which is why I qualified as a Wellness Practitioner. I am very family orientated and my two boys (now grown up) are a big part of my life. I am very curious and love learning about new things, whether that is a new culture, country or new ways of looking at things.
I spend some of my time doing voluntary work in a particular field of mental health so it would be wonderful to meet someone who has also has that instinct in them of helping others, is empathetic and compassionate and an excellent communicator.

I love connecting with people and would love to meet a gentle honest humble sensitive man that is not afraid to talk about his feelings or emotions. Forming a deep and genuine friendship would be a priority for me and then may be hoping to see if it grows into something more but I am definitely not looking for a quick "fling". I fear that someone that is not interested in politics or what is going on in the news and around the world may not be very compatibile. I keep reasonably fit but I am not a gym goer. I don't drink very much so probably wouldn't suit someone whose priority is needing to share a bottle of wine every night; don’t mind someone who drinks at all as long as they don’t mind that I rarely do! I have a dog, an eight year old lab who is great company and I am not much of a cat person...but could tolerate! I love surprises and I a big romantic so would love to find a spontaneous soul who feels the same.
