About him
I am a down to earth person, with a streak of romance in me, and more than a little humour ( that is in need of a bit more practice!). Honest and trustworthy. I am seeking to share interests, fun, and life's many experiences with that special person. I am quite active, and very much enjoy walking/hiking etc. in the great outdoors, and all of the "ologies" that make it more interesting. But I also have a wide variety of other interests and appreciate art in many forms, the theatre, concerts ( with an eclectic taste in music), travel and culture, as well as some sports, gardening, and volunteering, etc. I love food in all it's forms. Can't live without it! To help with all this I attend regular Pilates classes, and occasionally other fitness activities.
I like to think that my mind is not age defined, and that I still have a zest for living, learning and exploring, and value good conversation on a wide spectrum of topics.
I have two lovely daughters, and 2 grandchildren, who live in Cheshire, and we talk and tease regularly.

We all have commitments to some, or all, of family, friends, animals and activities - but it would be nice to meet someone who has the freedom, flexibility and willingness to create a space to develop a new relationship going forward.
Without being too prescriptive, someone who is generally fit and active, and willing and able to share the many interests in life that we may have, or want to seek out - be it outdoors, music, theatre, art, culture, travel etc. - and did I mention food!
An affectionate and fun personality would be most welcomed, and similarly repaid.
